Our Team

The work of the ministry is not done by just the pastor or any one person. We are very blessed at Rolleston Baptist Church to have a wonderful family of willing and gifted people who serve each other joyfully. Without the entirety of our “team” being willing to sacrifice for the Lord’s work this church would not exist.

Joe Fleener

Pastor/Elder

Joe

Lover of Christ & His Gospel, husband to Mandy, father to three adult children, & servant to the Local Church.

Joe earned a Master of Divinity degree from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary in 2003, completed his Masters of Theology courses in 2005 and moved to New Zealand with his family in 2006.

Joe has served as a Bible College lecturer and ‘lay preacher’ (churches, camps, conferences, etc.) in the US and New Zealand. Joe has taught courses for Bible Colleges and Ministry Training Centres in South Africa, Romania, Ukraine, Australia, and Kenya.

From 2010 to 2014, Joe served as the Associate Pastor at Howick Baptist Church in Auckland. Since August 2014, he has been the Pastor of Rolleston Baptist Church.

Doug Sinclair

Doug is married to Joanne.

They have 8 adult children and a growing number of grandchildren.

He has enjoyed being part of the Rolleston Community since 1998.

He has helped run the Rolleston Youth Club and along with his family helping with the FAB Holiday programme.

Doug was with Grace Baptist Church when it initiated the planting of the Rolleston Baptist Church and he is now delighted to be part of a church in his own community.
